A Series 93 Years in the Making......

Last year my best friend and i made the trip to Boston/Fenway for the 1st time and as soon as it was announced that the Cubs would be returning to Fenway we knew we had to be there. I was lucky enough to get tickets for Game 1 online when they went on sale and we decided to try getting game day tickets for Saturday's game. Despite the Cubs atrocious play thus far, there was nowhere else i'd rather be than at a ballgame watching my Cubbies. I loved the city of Boston last year and we wanted to see more of the city this time so we were total tourists. We went to the oldest restaurant in America, did the duck tour, went to Fenway, ate a Fenway Frank (which i still don't understand what all the hype is about) and even mastered the T. I absolutely love being in Boston but by the last day of my trip i was ready to get home. It was kind of unbelievable to see how rude some Bostonians are/were but we didn't let them get in the way of our fun. I had a great time and will definitely return to Boston for another trip. It truly is a beautiful city, everything is a T stop away and the weather was almost perfect during our stay. At the end of the trip i was ready to get home, you know they say there's no place like home. I'm a Chicago girl through and through and while i love other cities, nothing compares to Chicago <3
